My passion for writing, reading and analyzing a wide variety of literature from European Romanticism (my favorite) to Contemporary American FIction will certainly be demonstrated as I tutor. I have experienced child care providing for about five years, aiding with any homework help needed. Even though I am still not with the family, I continually help the (now) eighth grader with essay writing. Being an English Major, I have a wide variety of literature under my belt, and have been writing essays for many years. This helped me understand what a great essay is and how to get results.

Hobbies
I believe that a connection to a student is gravely important. Having the environment comfortable and at ease will enable a student to feel better about coming to be tutored but also help them to stay focused (instead of thinking to themselves how much they don't want to be here). I try to relate to everyone I come across in some way, whether learning about their hobbies or giving them life advice. I think this assures a great relationship between tutor and student, which will create respect but also enthusiasm. This is what I strive for.
